I am registered in California as an Associate Marriage Family Therapist (#147015) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#16551).

I received my MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I researched the depth psychological treatment of couples in crisis. I trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Valley Community Counseling Clinic in North Hollywood.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I have long-standing interests in poetry, literary translation, and visual art, and I previously worked for many years as a writer in the contemporary art world.
